PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED BUDGET 2010
TOWN OF CONOVER

     NOTICE IS GIVEN a PUBLIC HEARING on the Proposed Budget for 2010
will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. in the
Conover Center.  A detail of the budget is available for inspection in
the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours.


NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, immediately following the Public Hearing, s 
SPECIAL TOWN MEETING of the electors will be called pursuant to WS.
60.12(1) for the following purposes: 
	1.  to adopt the 2009 tax levy  s. 60.10(1)(a)
	2.  to approve the 2010 highway expenditures  s. 82.03(2)


NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN,  a SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING will be
conduted thereafter,  for the following purposes:  
	1.  to adopt the approved budget or amend the 2010 budget
	2.  to discuss, approve or reject Governor’s Auto Medical Payments
that was included in the State Budget that increased coverage from
$1,000 to $10,000 covering non-employees in town vehicles.  
	3.  to act on Resolution 112-09 recommendation of the Conover Plan
Commission for the town’s mandated Comprehensive Plan and to set
public hearing date for complying with the notice requirements.
