RSOQ’s (Project 9898-00-00 – 3.2 Multi-use Trail)
The Town of Conover requested of 30 some Engineering firms, their submittal of qualifications for our project as indicated on the “Bidding on Projects” tab. As a result of such request, a total of 14 (fourteen) were filed with the Town of Conover. The Conover selection committee consisting of the Conover Town Chair and 6 other individuals met on August 24th to complete the selection process. The committee saw no need for interviews on August 31. Thanks to everyone who provided us with their qualifications - all were greatly appreciated.
The short list of consulting firms for the project are as follows:

Bonestroo
CWE, Inc.
McMahon Associates, Inc.
The process of selection has been forwarded to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

Town of Conover
Proposals/Statements of Qualification for engineering, design and construction management of the Bicycle Pedestrian Facilities Program will begin being accepted after the official Request for such proposals is published this Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011. The project consists of building a bicycle/pedestrian trail from the Conover Town Park to Muskrat Creek Road (appx 3.2 miles) and for restroom facilities in the Town Park.
The Town of Conover reserves the right to accept or reject any or all items in the proposals. Further information can be obtained by contacting the Town Clerk at 715-479-8688 or at www.townofconover.com or by appointment at the Conover Center at 4665 CTH K E. Proposals are due not later than 12:00 p.m. on August 23, 2011.
