Conover Wireless Committee

	A Special Town Meeting has been called by the Town Board regarding
the topic of Wireless Internet that was the main concern of the
citizens at the Annual Meeting on April 8th.  Cost figures that was
requested by the Board has been provided them indicating a cost of
$4,630 for a 150’ tower.  Jeff Collins from SonicNet will be attending
to answering concerns of all.  
	The Special Town Meeting will be held in the Conover Center on
Wednesday, June 11, 2008 beginning at 6:00 p.m.  If you were not able

and learn about the dial-up alternative that the steering committee is
interested in getting in Conover by going to www.sonicnet.us.  Getting
DSL is many many years off for this area.
