NEWS SITE – Town of Conover Re: Tamarack Flowage Spillway Be advised, this site and “News” tab for the Town of Conover will as necessary, give important updates, news and progress in the quest of the property owners and all concerned Conover citizens regarding the topic of its continued existence. A meeting of the area property owners this Labor Day eve, met in the Conover Center at 1 p.m. to voice opinions. There was general agreement that property owners desired to work with who ever they need to, to resolve the situation in the best way possible to keep the current water levels in place as they have been for more than 60 years. The property owners desired to have their voice and support be heard along with the Town of Conover and asked that they be represented by property owners, Robert Senechalle and Ron Dorushka. In addition, they asked that they have a place to receive news and updates on the subject which I, James Hedberg who has control of the data placed on the official town website, will attempt to do as information is provided to me. When I am provided with updates from the appropriate persons within the working group(s), it will be posted here. We are all working toward a common goal of saving our beautiful resource and that work will take much effort as well as patience to attain.
