December 10, 2008 Tax Bill Notice

Tax Bill Mailing 2008

The Department of Revenue is currently working on the finalization of
the assessment ratio which is required to be placed on the tax bills. 
The Board of Review was just adjourned on December 7th so tax bills
this year will be later than normal.  

Even though late, the bills will be in the mail and will arrive to
everyone before the end of the month so that tax payments to be
credited this year, can be made but must be postmarked by December 31,
2008.  

I thank you for your patience – the delay is not caused  by your
treasurer.  I will work throughout this pre-Christmas season to get
the bills in the mail as fast as humanly 
possible.  A phone call to me will only be cause for more delay.  Your
cooperation is appreciated.
